Project Status (as of February 8, 2026)
The Bergen County Board of Taxation and the New Jersey Division of Taxation has authorized Carlstadt to perform a reassessment for the 2026 tax year as part of the reassessment program that has been implemented within the Borough. The Borough has contracted Appraisal Systems, Inc. to assist in conducting the Reassessment Program.
Value letters are being mailed beginning Friday, February 6, 2026. If you wish to discuss your new 2026 assessed valuation, you may contact Appraisal Systems, Inc. within 5 business days of the receipt of your letter. To schedule an appointment with a representative, call (201) 493-8530 between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. To request a copy of your property record card, email carlstadt@asinj.com. Please allow 24-48 hours for request to be processed.
