Revaluation

Township of Irvington

Project Status (as of February 29, 2024)
The Township of Irvington is currently undergoing a State-mandated revaluation of property assessments for the tax year 2024. Due to unavoidable delays the Essex County Board of Taxation has granted a one-year extension to the Township. The revaluation will now be effective for the tax year 2025.

If you already had a complete exterior and interior inspection in 2023 or early 2024 there is no need for an additional inspection. If your property has not been inspected yet, Appraisal Systems will be visiting sometime in the coming months.

After the appraisals have been completed, you will be notified of the valuation placed on your property as well as procedures to review the assessment with a qualified representative of the firm.

Continue to check this page for updates as the project continues.
