Revaluation

Township of Long Beach

Project Status (as of December 27, 2020)
The Township of Long Beach has been ordered by the Ocean County Board of Taxation and the New Jersey Division of Taxation to perform a revaluation program to be implemented for tax year 2021. The revaluation will ensure uniform and equitable assessments throughout the municipality and account for recent changes in the real estate market. The Township has entered into a contract with Appraisal Systems, Inc. to conduct the revaluation program.

Letters containing the proposed assessments are being mailed beginning December 16, 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all one-on-one meetings to discuss the proposed assessments will ONLY be held via telephone.

Please follow the instructions in the letter to set-up a meeting.
