Project Status (as of May 1, 2015)
At this point the revaluation of all property in the City of Paterson has been completed in accordance with the rules and regulations mandated by the State of New Jersey requiring all real property be appraised at its fair market value.
If you disagree with the assessed value of your property, your next step would be to file a tax appeal with the Passaic County Board of Taxation. The filing deadline (typically May 1st following a revaluation) has been extended for the 2015 tax year. The deadline to file a tax appeal for the 2015 tax year is June 15, 2015. This date only applies for the 2015 tax year. |
